amberalexander

fox art, fox watercolor, Watercolor painting- reproduction- "Foxes and Ferns" print of watercolor painting
"I'm Amber, the woman behind the catchy, hip shop name, "amberalexander";) I live in Vermont in a very beautiful, but moody climate. Half of the year is pastoral and like a dream. The other half can be trying. The season changes are charming and interesting, but winter could stand to let up a little earlier than she does. I have always been an artist, and as a child, drew page after page of girls with different outfits on, and animals in clothes (inspired by Beatrix Potter of course). Later, I attended a liberal arts school with a major in Art and minor in Art History. Watercolors are my medium of choice. I love the way the flow of ideas from my head and heart flowed directly onto the paper. I recently had a children's book published with my illustrations. It was published by a Vermont Publisher, Radiant Hen, The book is entitled "Ninny Nu's Organic Farm" and all of the characters are animals. It tells a story about how bigger is not always necessarily better. :) http://www.radianthen.com/samples.php#ninnynu When I am not painting, packing orders or curating treasuries on Etsy (the closest I'll ever get to being a museum curator), I am entertaining and playing with my two nutty poodles, Olin and Izzy, and my sometimes nutty husband, John :) I like crossfit, running, gardening, art, food, wine, and funny people:) I hope you enjoy my work. I try to convey my love of animals and maybe inspire others to love them as I do :) I recently opened another shop for my landscapes/nature paintings. You can visit it here: Shadyrill.etsy.com"

Valeria Heine

Light in the Trees - 8x8 Fine Art Photograph
"I'm a photographer. I recently moved to Lima, Peru but grew up in Florida. I love photography, the internet, design, art, and eating. :) My art is about light, simplicity, and warmth. I use a digital camera and natural lighting to photograph my personal surroundings and create calm, quiet, and often dark atmospheres. I'm interested in the shapes and textures created by light and shadow and I love taking pictures indoors using minimal sunlight. Photos of empty spaces and lone subjects feel the most personal to me and I like the intimacy they provide. I generally focus on the smaller details such as parts of bodies, leaving the rest of the scene to the imagination and allowing others to put themselves in the photo by keeping faces obscured. I'm always happy to receive emails, so please, feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or projects! :)"

"Thanks so very much for visiting my online shop. I run enhabiten full-time and it is an absolute pleasure and a job I feel so lucky to have. Making things is what I am meant to do and I love that the possibilities are endless and endlessly interesting. I use exclusively vintage and environmentally sustainable materials. I don't find this at all a burden or challenge and it is an intrinsic part of my business and philosophy. I do some wholesale work and welcome inquiries. I also entertain special orders. Feel free to send me an Etsy conversation regarding this."

La Petite Mascarade

Willow and Cherry Tree Goddesses Shinto Art - Archival Art Print 8.5 x 11
"We're a married team with a background in technology and art. Celeste has practiced visual arts since she was a young child, and has honed a large array of talents in the field. Her current specialty is a unique combination of hand drawing and digital colouring, forming a distinct blend of traditional and digital art. Jacob grew up with a love for technology in an artistic family, and mixes art with code in creating computer games. He also enjoys working with tactile mediums, and specializes in origami, developing new shapes and patterns. Together, we've found great pleasure in working together on projects. In mixing that with our enjoyment of Halloween costuming, we found that our talents combined well in creating masks. That is when the idea of creating miniature masks for tiny creatures came about, and evolved."

uncorked

Wine Cork Board - It's a Cupcake War - upcycled by Uncorked
"Welcome to Uncorked™ the most fantabulous cork jewelry on the planet - handmade by Cat Ivins of Olive Bites Studio. YIPPEE - I was Etsy's featured seller on 9/9/9 - My interview is here I am a mad scientist mom living life uncorked and out of the test tube at the beautiful Jersey shore. I seek to repurpose sustainable materials in unique and beautiful ways and leave the lightest possible footprint in my wake! Cork is the bark of the cork oak tree. My cork is grown in managed forests in Portugal where the bark is carefully harvested, once every nine years, in a centuries-old tradition with hand tools and without fertilizers or pesticides; a process that ensures the forests will remain undamaged! Stop by my other shop celebrating the amazing magnet: http://polarity.etsy.com Check out my blog at http://www.olivebites.blogspot.com for great eco tips, weekly giveaways, updates and shop sales! Buy your wine with cork stoppers and support the cork forests and the people of Portugal! (please note winery label names shown on wine cork pieces may vary from what you receive as all wine cork jewelry is made to order - some corks are labeled with writing on the sides of the corks and some on the cork ends) I currently recycle cork for many bars and restaurants at the Jersey shore and you can always send cork to me for reuse or recycle- just convo me for details! Please note: Etsy is not a place to find ideas to copy or imitate. I take my intellectual property seriously as it is my livelihood. Please do not recreate any portion of the copyrighted or trademarked material in my shop. I have taken the time and energy to produce original work and I encourage other artists to do the same. Thank you for understanding. xo"

Jennifer Davis Art

screen print - Fruit
"Making art is a daily ritual for me. I enjoy painting everyday and get a deep satisfaction from sharing my work with other people. For me, painting is a vehicle for expressing my most personal thoughts and ideas. I am trying to communicate things that are often unspoken and private but commonly human. I started selling original paintings and collages on Etsy in 2006 and added limited edition prints in 2010. In addition to selling work via my Etsy shop, I regularly exhibit my work in shops and galleries throughout the U.S. and beyond."

Corner Gallery

Wreck of the Peter Iredale
"I've been an interior decorator working with designers in the San Francisco Bay area, a potter with my work in shows and a gallery in Portland, OR. and am currently a photographer who is beginning to share my work through shows and sales. Originally from the Midwest, I now live in the Pacific Northwest, where I find an endless supply of inspiration. I've lived in or visited most of the US and have traveled to Mexico and Cuba. I'm looking forward to more travel as I get older especially since it allows me to slow down a bit, indulge in my passion, and grow my skills as a photographer. I shoot what inspires me whether it be a macro of a beautiful flower or graffiti on the side of a building. If it draws my attention I try to express what it was that drew me to shoot it. As much as possible my images are as I saw them without manipulation so that what you see is what I saw."
