Raccoon Boy Animal Pin - Green Shirt with Heart
"Oh. I just like animals. Happy little animals. It's pretty disgusting. Sometimes I want to make dark, mean animals but unfortunately they don't come out that way. Sometimes serious, but usually happy and colorful. Oh well. For a slightly darker side of Murmur Fremo check out: www.etsy.com/shop/murmurfremo2"

JustineJustine

Green bead statement necklace mexican style
"hello! i studied jewelry design in Antwerp, Belgium and in La Escola Massana, Barcelona, Spain. and took jewelry courses in Oaxaca, Mexico. this is how it all began: i was still a little girl when it first came to my mind to sell the jewelry i made. so together with my best friend I made a bunch of things on a rainy afternoon and the very next day we took our little treasures to a fancy store in the nearest city! And they accepted everything we made! my friend dropped out but I kept on going. I grew up, moved to Mexico by the time I was 18 on an interchange program. i fell in love with this amazing country and promised myself I would come back. After a year of Mexican sun I went back to Belgium to study Jewelry design in Antwerp (st-lucas) and Barcelona, Spain (escola massana) . But my mind was still in Mexico, so I during my studies I went back every summer until i finished my master degree in jewelry art and i was free to go. Well, ever since i’m here, in Oaxaca, designing, making and creating… And thanks to Etsy i can now reach people worldwide!"

Laine Benthall designs

4 Stone Sequence Ring (Emerald) Size 5.25
"Even as a youngster in Indiana, Laine Benthall enjoyed making jewelry for herself and for her Mom. With the help of a scholarship to swim, she graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts for Metals and Jewelry. Shortly after graduation, Laine moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and worked as a bench jeweler whenever she wasn’t surfing! After 18 months in paradise, she decided to start her own business as an artist. Laine is now a designer and goldsmith who lives in Evansville, Indiana. Her work can be described as contemporary and classy. She primarily uses sterling silver or 14K and accentuates her work with pearls, precious and semi-precious stones. “The patterns and shapes created by the natural universe is what inspires me. I believe nature’s beauty is pure and immaculate. I aim to intensify this universal beauty as a way for me to indulge in extravagant visual bliss, and to show appreciation for nature’s unparalleled delicacy.”

River of Romansk

Egyptian Goddess Soft Vert Absinthe Vineyard Elves Meadow Green Chiffon Dress Romance Dreamy Old World Flowy Angel Marie Antoinette Gown
"River of Romansk is whimsical, romantic and enchanting. I wish to recreate an era of dainty loveliness; of sash and ribbons, satins and laces.. all of which are reminiscence of a time more dreamy and innocent.
A beautiful dress is unforgettable. It has the magic to transform and the power to take our breaths away. I hope you commemorate each and every precious memory with pieces from River of Romansk - memories which would serve you with a smile many months and many years down the road!
Three people are involved in my Etsy shop (making it a Collective). They are my mother and sister and myself . The main person running this is me but they help me in terms of packing the items for shipment, giving me new ideas in helping me create
my pieces, suggestions on the fabrics to purchase. My sister helps me with
the purchase of fabrics and materials from overseas suppliers. She is also
the photographer for my pieces created. Both my
mother and I will sew them on sewing machines. Sometimes, some pieces will
require hand embroidery. (i.e. Sewing of sequins, pearls, faux gems and
appliqués)
Everything online is managed by me. I list the items online, manage
conversations and enquiries and send the items myself at the post office.
I am very happy to be here and grateful for my family's support. This little business has helped to bond all of us together and improved my relationship with my mother, helping me to appreciate her in many ways which I was too blinded to see when I was in the corportate world. I thank God for giving me this opportunity. All glory and thanks to Him."

Timo Handmade

Christmas tartan Beaded Lady Doll Wearing tartan plaid red Green dress, Beads , Buttons & socks - handmade cloth doll
"My collection of fabric scraps and knick knacks took shape by itself
A small case of multicolored threads I once inherited
A well-loved shirt, wrong sized, I couldn’t pass on for its magnificent texture
A jar of buttons, no relation to one another whatsoever
A handkerchief with grandpa's initials
An embroidered pillow cover, hole included
A romantic dress once found in a second hand shop abroad...
The desire to sew these together, to make something new, was born of the materials themselves.
TIMO is a small design line, all hand-made.
sewn with an eye for detail and a touch for fabric.
Being hand-made, each and every item is one of a kind.
TIMO is part of the EcoDesign trend, standing up for the right consumption and the right manufacturing, alongside
recycling, minimization of manufacturing waste and simplification of processes.
The objects' design is current and classic, but the methods of manufacture are traditional.
The materials are mostly recycled, or scraps of designers' fabrics.
Scraps of fabric piled up in the studio are used later either as stuffing or as material for other products.
TIMO is a collection, a game and a source of livelihood, all taking place in Timor's own home."

Studio By The Forest

Ceramic Buttons, Rustic Porcelain Leaves in Sage Green, Set of Four
"Anyone who is familiar with my works and inspirations knows that I'm hugely influenced by nature, especially leaves, trees, and woodland creatures. Upon researching my maiden name, Derrough. I discovered that it is derived from a Celtic word for oak, which happens to be a tree of which I have always felt a magical bond, even from a very young age. I feel that my love of nature is genetic--a nod to my ancestors who would be proud to know that it is alive and well in the 21st century.
I am a stay-at-home mother with 4 young children which definitely keeps me busy!"

Aurum Jewelry

Ring - 14k Gold And Peridot Gemstone Ring
"Aurum Jewelry was founded in 2010 when my passion for fine craftsmanship and jewelry design were combined.
I fell in love with jewelry-making and the arts a long time ago, but it took me a while before I actually started designing and creating my own art. I enjoy art and history which are the chief sources of my inspiration when creating jewelry. The jewelry is designed to have a clean and simple look as I respect the materials that I work with.
All of the jewelry is one-of-a-kind, hand crafted, using silver or gold (14k, 18k, 22k or 24k) in conjunction with precious stones, gems and ancient coins. I strive to preserve the natural, unprocessed and non-synthetic appearance and properties of the resources that I work with so that they remain true and accurate. I take pleasure in the unity of old and new - luxurious precious stones, ancient stones and coins - with their authentic finish, to achieve a modern urban look."

Mrs Pomeranz

Hokusai Wrap Dress
"Hello, I’m Dasha Pomeranzev! I live in London and in Moscow. I love vintage clothes and have been collecting vintage 50s dresses several years. Then I realized there were less and less beautiful vintage dresses around, and I started to dream of creating my own collection. I spent hours in the fabric department of Liberty’s in London. I analysed and broke down how 50s dresses were made. I created some prototypes for friends…and ended up with a ‘New Look’ collection
We have adapted 50s models to reflect how women’s figures have changed in the following decades. Not all vintage dresses suit today’s women- they can be too full in the chest and too thin at the waist. Our dresses fit perfectly: the full dress slims the figure exactly where it needs to, the length makes your legs look longer. The fabrics are Italian and English (from Liberty), with high-contrast prints, or Scottish tweed. We make no more than ten dresses from each fabric.
I hope that you will love my dresses and they will become your favourites."

Paulla Tewksbury

SHE'S A KINDRED SPIRIT Sterling Silver Cocktail Ring with Peridot and 14k Gold
"Aside from doing a bang-up job of being Paulla, my additional roles in life are mother of two, lover of coffee and all things jewelry.
I am a self-taught silversmith and find inspiration in the patterns of nature, ancient symbols, life experience, and sometimes fleeting images when I close my eyes right before I drift off to sleep at night.
In everyday life, I work full-time in the buying office of a large membership-based warehouse club where I have spent 20 wonderful years. I utilize every spare moment between work, popsicle bribes, and admiring various Lego creations to make fabulous jewelry.
I work in silver, gold, precious and semi-precious gemstones, pearls, lampwork, and precious metal clay. I welcome custom orders and enjoy challenging myself with new techniques and styles."

surf and sand jewelry design

"Growing up in Southern California, specifically Newport Beach,I have always had a love of the ocean.Having a bay on one side and the ocean on the other of a small spit of land I grew up on meant being surrounded by water.I moved to Hawaii when I was 18 and spent almost 20 years there. (Once again surrounded by water)I can't imagine not being able to see and smell the ocean every day of my life.My love of family brought me back to Newport Beach where I currently live.
Being a creative person by nature,I began making jewelry while in high school, then became employed as a silversmith.I love making beautiful things.Making jewelry is like meditation for me.I loose all track of time.I don't need food, water or sleep.I just need to create.
Putting my two loves together, ocean inspired colors and materials, and jewelry making, has brought me to create the pieces you see here. They keep me calm, centered and help relieve the stress of a full-time job and life in general.
I hope that when you wear one of my pieces, you feel that same sense of serenity that I feel creating it."
