"I enjoy flowers, fog in the meadow, dew on a cobwebs, rime in trees... I try to use it in my works! I like to be close to nature - it inspires me to create things which reminds me about beauty of nature! I am embroidering and felting, sewing by hands and also using sewing machine. I like to experiment embroidering using freehand embroidering technique and I like to mix different styles and materials (felt,beads, wool, linen etc.). I have lots of ideas, so visit my shop regulary and you will be surprised by my new projects!"

"Janet Hill discovered her passion for painting as a teenager. With the support of her family and teachers, Janet earned a degree in Fine Art from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where she specialized in oil painting and graduated with honors. Following graduation, she spent several years working in fields unrelated to art. Deeply missing her creative life, she decided to take a leap of faith and paint full-time. She has never looked back.
Janet enjoys painting the beauty of women, interiors, and still-life. Her choice of subject matter ranges from a duchess satin gown to a humble bowl of cereal. Crochet...

I got this book from the library, the other day. I'm going to attempt to teach myself how to crochet. I have attempted this several times in the past, already. This time I'll take it seriously and really try to learn. I'd love to make some doll clothes or some adorable little amigurumis some day. I need to find out what a good starting size is for a crochet hook, a standard size. Wish me luck!

My first needlebook made for a tag swap on swap-bot. Girlonaglide likes earthy/neutral colors and chickens. I think she'll be happy with this. This was much easier to make than what I was expecting...
