"I began knitting and embroidering as a teenager and have just recently begun machine and sashiko sewing.
I am currently a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom of a very energetic boy, and two energetic cats. My husband is a mathematician, and doesn't require as much chasing around as the boy and the cats. In an earlier life I taught environmental studies and I continue to be interested in environmental issues and "greening" my household."
