"Hello! I'm Elaine and I hand sewn unique gifts for Ellie’s Treasures, based in rural Lincolnshire, Great Britain. A lot of time and care is put into every item I produce. Ideas are sketched out first, thought through and altered before the materials are chosen, hand cut and then sewn with embellishments being added as the new item comes together. I feel there is something very lovely about an item made by hand. May be it’s the notion that it’s unique and carefully finished, perhaps a little uneven in places, and always the knowledge that no two items will be exactly the same."

"Magpies are always on the lookout for interesting or shiny, bright things to bring home to their nest...like me scouting out an estate or yard sale, keeping an eye open for the good thing that's hiding there. A good day will bring some old buttons and fabric, or a nice vintage item that seems like it could find a new home through my shop. I have a lot of nice molds for pouring beeswax, a big stack of black paper, some sharp scissors, and an excellent source for wool sweaters to felt and cut up. That sounds like enough to keep anyone busy. My husband and I have 4 daughters, 3 grown and out of the house, and a 18 year old senior in high school. I've been on the Gulf Coast of Texas long enough to almost feel like a native."
